A Practical Framework for Secure AI Adoption in Federal Civilian Agencies
Image: Zscaler

Zscaler has published a framework for secure AI adoption in US federal civilian agencies, structured around a six-part lifecycle: Discover, Classify, Control, Test, Monitor and Report.

The model is designed to help agencies meet the requirements of the White House memorandum M-25-21 on AI governance, moving from policy intent to enforceable execution. Zscaler positions its AI security capabilities, including asset management, inline policy enforcement and red teaming, as supporting each stage of the lifecycle.
