Zscaler introduces ZPA Application Scaling for large app catalogs

Zscaler has introduced ZPA Application Scaling, a feature for its Zscaler Private Access platform that increases the supported number of private applications per tenant from roughly 6,000 to approximately 100,000. The capability reduces the configuration data sent to the Zscaler Client Connector by providing a smaller list of parent domains, with the ZPA cloud confirming the exact application and policy decision when needed.
The feature is designed to keep the client lightweight and operations manageable as application catalogues grow. It also serves as a foundation for advanced capabilities such as policy modernisation, B2B federation, and increased access policy limits, and is expected to be a prerequisite for future ZPA features.
Current customers can enable Application Scaling by opening a backend support ticket, provided their environment meets standard prerequisites. There is no change to user workflows.
