Yokogawa opens Industrial Cyber Resilience Center in Singapore

Yokogawa Engineering Asia has launched an Industrial Cyber Resilience Center (ICRC) at its Singapore office. The centre will serve as a regional hub for Southeast Asia, Oceania and Taiwan, offering cybersecurity training, solutions and services aimed at helping industrial organisations close capability gaps and recover from cyber incidents.
The company said the centre follows a three-step framework: assessing cyber resilience maturity and vulnerabilities, building workforce competencies through tailored training and procedures, and running cyber drills and crisis readiness exercises. It is supported by Yokogawa’s OT Security Simulator, cyber drill exercises and ResilienceScore.
Chay Kin Wah, president and CEO of Yokogawa Engineering Asia, said the launch reinforces the company’s commitment to helping customers navigate a complex threat landscape, while Charles Lim, head of digital security solution, noted that many organisations lack the ability to recognise abnormal situations and respond effectively under realistic cyber-physical conditions.
