Wiz to acquire Dazz to strengthen cloud-to-code remediation

Wiz has agreed to acquire Dazz, a move that will combine Wiz’s cloud security platform with Dazz’s remediation engine to address risks across the application lifecycle, from code to cloud.

Dazz’s technology specialises in application security posture management (ASPM), correlating data from multiple sources to pinpoint root causes and enable engineers to fix vulnerabilities directly in code. Wiz said the acquisition will help customers resolve risks at the source and improve collaboration between security and engineering teams.

Financial terms were not disclosed. Wiz and Dazz have a shared history: Wiz’s founders and Dazz’s CEO Merav Bahat previously worked together at Microsoft after the acquisition of Adallom.
