Wiz comes out of stealth with $100M Series A funding to reinvent cloud security

Wiz has emerged from stealth with $100m in Series A funding from Index Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Insight Partners, and Cyberstarts. The company was founded by the former leaders of Microsoft’s Cloud Security Group, including Ami Luttwak, Yinon Costica, and Roy Reznik.

Wiz offers a cloud security platform that scans entire cloud environments for vulnerabilities, configuration, network, and identity issues without agents. The company says its approach provides 360-degree visibility and helps security teams focus on critical risks.
