Wiz opens new data centre in UAE

Wiz has opened a new data centre in Dubai, UAE, making its cloud security platform available to organisations in the region. The facility is built on the company’s global infrastructure and offers all Wiz features on the same schedule as elsewhere.

The move is driven by strong customer growth in the MEA region, including major brands such as MBC and Emirates NBD. McKinsey analysis cited by Wiz suggests public cloud could generate up to $183 billion in value for the Middle East by 2030.

The data centre is designed to meet data sovereignty and compliance requirements, and is part of Wiz’s collaboration with AWS to advance cloud security in the region.
