Wiz has launched a new cloud data centre in Montreal, Canada, to help local and multinational organisations meet data sovereignty and privacy requirements. The facility is operational and available to new customers, offering the same features and innovations as Wiz’s global infrastructure.

The company also added support for the CSE Information Technology Security Guidance (ITSG-33) framework, which simplifies compliance with Canadian government security controls. Deloitte Canada is collaborating with Wiz to help organisations strengthen their cloud security posture.

The expansion follows strong customer growth in Canada, including clients such as Northbridge Financial, Assent, Questrade, and Shakepay. IDC forecasts Canadian cloud services spending will reach $132.6B by 2025.
