Wiz launches Australia cloud data center further demonstrating commitment to ANZ and multinational organizations

Wiz has launched a new data centre in Sydney, NSW, for customers in the ANZ region, enabling them to keep all data within the region while maintaining data sovereignty and privacy requirements. The data centre is built on Wiz’s global infrastructure architecture and offers all features on the same schedule as globally.

The investment follows strong customer growth in the region, including brands such as Linktree, OFX, and Brighte, and Wiz’s employee growth in the region has more than quadrupled in the past year. The company also added support for the Australian Cyber Security Centre’s Essential Eight security guidelines as a supported framework, alongside existing benchmarks like CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and SOC2.

The new data centre is operational and available to new customers now.
