TigerByte Cyber exits stealth with $3m seed round

TigerByte Cyber has emerged from stealth with $3m in seed funding led by Hale Capital Partners, with additional backing from Tenon VC. The Hanover, New Hampshire company provides cyber hardening for AI and edge devices.
Its Cyber Protection Suite is a compact plug-and-play product that applies hardware-enforced protections to legacy and mission-critical systems, including data validation, deep packet inspection, network segmentation and post-quantum encryption. The technology appears to derive from WebSensing, a single-chip network security specialist founded in 2016 that has moved its products and staff to the new brand.
TigerByte Cyber said the funding will scale its technology for communication and navigation systems in military and commercial aircraft, drones, satellites and vehicles, and expand its US manufacturing. It has already won more than $7m in contracts with US government agencies including the Space Force, the Navy and DARPA.
