Optigo Networks launches AI Assistant for BACnet building automation monitoring

Optigo Networks has launched the Optigo AI Assistant, an assistant embedded in its cloud-based OT monitoring platform Optigo Visual Networks (OptigoVN) for BACnet building automation systems. The company said the tool addresses a shortage of expertise needed to interpret diagnostic data, which can otherwise send teams to outside vendors and turn routine questions into multi-day investigations.
Rather than layering a general-purpose chatbot on the product, Optigo trained the Assistant in a closed environment of OT network data, technical documentation and live and simulated troubleshooting sessions. Users can ask plain-language questions about diagnostic results, device inventories and network health scores, and receive concrete next actions drawn from Optigo’s library of documented resolutions.
The Assistant can also generate client-ready output such as prioritised punch lists, summary reports and emails to system integrators or building owners, and handle account tasks conversationally, including adding a monitoring node or walking through integration setup for Niagara 4, Neeve, enteliWeb and EcoStruxure. It is available in app for eligible subscriptions, and OptigoVN accounts are free to create.
