NuSummit appoints Kunal Purohit as managing director and CEO

NuSummit, a provider of AI-led cybersecurity, data, digital and cloud transformation services to capital markets, insurance, banking and financial services, has appointed Kunal Purohit as managing director and chief executive. He takes over immediately from Anantharaman Sreenivasan, known as Ganesh, who led the company for five years and will stay on as an executive director until 31 March 2027 to support the transition.

Purohit has more than two decades of experience building and scaling technology businesses, including leadership roles at Tech Mahindra and HCL Technologies, where he worked on cybersecurity, AI, cloud and data engagements. He has been named among Entrepreneur India’s Top 25 Tech Trailblazers and holds a Distinguished Alumni Award from IIM Indore, and sits on the boards of several start-ups.

Varun Laul, a partner at Investcorp and a NuSummit board member, said Purohit’s experience in cybersecurity, cloud engineering and AI would help the company accelerate growth. NuSummit, backed by Investcorp, serves more than 300 clients worldwide, including 22 Fortune 500 companies.
