Mind Security Inc. has raised $72m in a Series B round led by Crosspoint Capital Partners, with returning backers YL Ventures and Paladin Capital Group also participating. The company puts its total funding at $112m, after an $11m seed round at its October 2024 launch and a $30m Series A in June 2025.

The startup sells data loss prevention software that finds sensitive files across SaaS applications, endpoints and email, classifies them by content and context, and then blocks risky activity or prompts the user with the policy they would break. It argues that older DLP tools, built for human-paced workflows, fall short once AI agents read and share company data without a person in the loop.

Mind released a set of AI DLP Agents in July that build classifiers, draft policies and investigate incidents, directed through a Model Context Protocol interface. The company says revenue grew more than 17-fold over the past year and its customer count eightfold, without disclosing the underlying figures.

Customers include Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, which uses the software to keep protected health information out of AI tools on staff devices, and the National Geographic Society, which labels sensitive documents and restricts public sharing. Mind was accepted into Anthropic’s Cyber Verification Program in May and holds ISO/IEC 42001 certification.
