MGM Studios CISO discusses security collaboration with Wiz

At AWS re:invent, MGM Studios CISO John Visneski discussed the company’s security journey and its merger with Amazon. He explained how Wiz helped unify security and engineering teams by providing a shared language and context for risk.

Visneski noted that during the acquisition, prioritisation became an hourly activity, and that the hardest part was cultural, not technical. He emphasised the importance of giving teams access to security insights and tools to reduce friction and build better relationships.
