Marlink launches OT security offering for maritime and industrial sectors

Marlink has launched a new OT security offering for maritime and land-based industries, combining professional services with OT-native technology to help organisations protect operational technology. The offering addresses growing cyber risks as OT systems become more connected and exposed to remote access and physical connections.
The solution includes passive monitoring to identify connected assets and unusual activity, with safeguards to contain threats. It is supported by 24/7 security monitoring and expert oversight, and helps customers meet regulatory requirements such as IACS UR E26, NERC CIP, the EU’s NIS2 Directive and ISA/IEC 62443.
Marlink said it detected and contained an early-stage cyber threat in a tanker’s cargo-control network in late 2025, highlighting the risks. The company has more than 150 cybersecurity professionals and multi-region security operations centres.
