ISA and OTCC partner to advance OT cybersecurity

The International Society of Automation (ISA) and the Operational Technology Cybersecurity Coalition (OTCC) have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on strengthening operational technology (OT) cybersecurity across critical infrastructure.
The partnership will focus on raising awareness of OT cybersecurity risks and solutions, exploring strategic issues of shared interest, and facilitating technical engagement between members. The goal is to encourage better implementation of foundational standards such as ISA/IEC 62443.
OTCC recently published a position paper advocating for ISA/IEC 62443 to be recognised as the global OT security standard, arguing that a single horizontal standard would reduce the burden of duplicative sector-specific mandates.
