HelmGuard Raises $7.3 Million for Agentic GRC and Security

HelmGuard, a UK-based AI risk and compliance startup, has raised $7.3 million in seed funding. The round was co-led by Infinity Ventures and Frontline, with participation from FinTech Collective, Stage 2 Capital and Entrepreneurs First.

Founded in 2024 by former Palantir executive John Daley and Jack Miller, the company has built an agentic governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platform that continuously collects and assesses risk signals from source systems. Its AI agents automate risk management, assurance and control gap assessment workflows, cutting assessment cycles to hours.

HelmGuard says its agents collect evidence and assess risks under verified, current claims, addressing the problem that vendor risk underwritten at purchase no longer covers what is currently running as vendors integrate AI into their products. The funding will be used to bring the capability to more teams and extend it to governing AI agents deployed on other workflows.
