Globalgig expands managed security portfolio to cover enterprise AI

Globalgig has widened its managed security portfolio to cover enterprise AI, adding services that discover, assess and protect the AI applications, agents, models and data that customers are putting into production. The offering is delivered through the same managed model Globalgig already uses for the edge, endpoints, identities and security operations.
The company cited the 2026 Cost of a Data Breach Report, which found shadow AI was involved in 43% of breaches this year, more than double the previous year, and that 92% of organisations that suffered an AI-related breach lacked adequate AI access controls. Globalgig said customers can choose how much of the AI layer they run themselves and shift that balance as their needs change.
Globalgig builds on Palo Alto Networks technology for its AI security capabilities. Orchestra Insight supplies network context, giving real-time visibility into the traffic, connections and performance beneath each AI system. CEO Ernest Cunningham said customers are moving away from point products towards partners who own the outcome, while CTO Jamie Pugh described AI security as four distinct problems: knowing what AI is in use, controlling what employees input, defending production workloads, and monitoring around the clock.
