Galvanick and Carahsoft partner to bring OT threat detection to the public sector

Galvanick, an operational technology (OT) cybersecurity company, has partnered with Carahsoft Technology Corp. to make its OT security platform available to government agencies. Under the agreement, Carahsoft will act as Galvanick’s Master Government Aggregator, offering the platform through its reseller partners and contract vehicles including SEWP V, ITES-SW2, TIPS, E&I and The Quilt.

The Galvanick platform is designed to detect adversary pre-positioning in critical infrastructure by passively ingesting endpoint, network, infrastructure and application data, correlating alerts and pushing findings to existing SIEM tools. It deploys in hours and uses user-mode endpoint sensing with no kernel access, built for industrial environments.

Galvanick was founded in 2021 by veterans of Amazon’s industrial security programme and the US National Security Council. Boeing runs the platform across multiple facilities. The partnership aims to help federal, state and local agencies meet mandates such as OMB’s M-26-14 logging requirements.
