Dragos has completed its acquisitions of NetRise and runZero, days after Accenture’s majority investment in the OT security vendor closed. The moves form part of Accenture’s $4.1bn operational technology cybersecurity push announced in June, which valued Dragos at $3.25bn.

Dragos will keep operating independently, with Robert M. Lee continuing as chief executive and taking the role of board chairman. Accenture will add board members, while Dmitri Alperovitch returns to the board. runZero chief executive HD Moore, NetRise chief executive Thomas Pace and NetRise chief technology officer Michael Scott are joining Dragos with their teams to lead platform integration.

NetRise brings firmware-level insight into device exposure and software supply chain visibility, while runZero, founded by Metasploit creator Moore, adds asset discovery, exposure assessment and attack surface intelligence. Dragos said the deals extend its platform beyond OT asset visibility and threat detection into exposure management and software supply chain security. Financial terms of the two acquisitions were not disclosed.
