Cylus launches Cylus.ai agentic intelligence layer for rail cybersecurity

Rail cybersecurity vendor Cylus has launched Cylus.ai, an intelligence layer that applies agentic intelligence on top of the security tools rail operators already run. The company said the product is designed to help security teams interpret what they are seeing on operational networks and decide how to respond, with a human always in control.
Cylus.ai integrates most deeply with CylusOne, the company’s flagship platform for visibility into rail operational networks and the threats against them. Cylus said the new layer turns that visibility into understanding and action, and is built to address a shortage of security professionals with genuine rail expertise as regulatory pressure rises.
Cylus also named three former transit leaders to its advisory board: Nuria Fernández, former Administrator of the U.S. Federal Transit Administration; Josef Doppelbauer, former Executive Director of the European Union Agency for Railways; and Mario Péloquin, former President and CEO of VIA Rail Canada. CEO Amir Levintal said the appointments signal the company is building what the industry needs.
