Security becomes a shared job as AI widens the attack surface

CrowdStrike and Amazon Web Services are deepening their decade-long partnership to address the expanding attack surface created by artificial intelligence, particularly agentic workloads. The two companies are integrating their technologies to jointly defend models, agents and the surrounding cloud services ecosystem.

CrowdStrike has introduced Project QuiltWorks, an alliance of cloud providers, systems integrators, technology suppliers, law firms and insurance partners. It also announced Falcon IQ, a tool built on AWS that uses AI to accelerate threat discovery and remediation, reducing the time from discovery to remediation to minutes.

CrowdStrike counts more than 900 technology integrations across its partner ecosystem, and both companies see commercial opportunities for partners to build new revenue streams on the joint stack. AWS’s Mona Chadha emphasised that security remains ‘job zero’ as agent-level controls are developed.
