Capsule Security Launches ‘AI Circuit Breaker’ to Stop Rogue Agents
Image: SecurityWeek

Capsule Security has launched an ‘AI circuit breaker’ designed to stop autonomous AI agents from acting outside their intended scope. The runtime security layer evaluates an agent’s intended action immediately before execution and can allow, flag or block it in real time.

The company was founded in 2025 by Naor Paz (CEO) and Lidan Hazout (CTO). Its models, trained with NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Ultra, achieved 96.9% detection accuracy and a decision time as low as 71 milliseconds, with the larger model’s memory requirement reduced by almost 50%.

Capsule claims 98% efficiency for its decision maker against the StepShield academic benchmark. The firm argues that specialised small language models are key to securing agentic workflows without sacrificing speed or cost.
