Alliance for Critical Infrastructure expands to nearly 50 members across six US sectors

The Alliance for Critical Infrastructure (ACI) has expanded its membership to nearly 50 companies spanning six US critical infrastructure sectors: communications, energy, financial services, information technology, transportation, and water systems. The group said the enlarged alliance will focus on strengthening physical and cyber resilience, identifying shared vulnerabilities, understanding cross-sector dependencies, securing critical supply chains, and supporting government efforts.
ACI said its work will cover cyber risks tied to large language models, strategies against evolving physical and cyber attacks, open-source software security, and the secure adoption of LLMs with appropriate risk-management safeguards. It also plans to share best practices with operators beyond its membership and develop response systems to speed recovery after damaging attacks.
The expanded alliance is led by a CEO-level board chaired by JPMorganChase chairman and chief executive Jamie Dimon. Members include Andy Jassy of Amazon, Satya Nadella of Microsoft, Jensen Huang of NVIDIA, Chuck Robbins of Cisco Systems, Jane Fraser of Citi, David Solomon of Goldman Sachs, and John Stankey of AT&T, among others. The expansion builds on more than a decade of private-sector national security work with government and the efforts of ACI’s nine founding members.
