Abacus launches AI³ initiative for enterprise AI adoption in regulated industries

Abacus, a managed IT and cybersecurity provider serving regulated industries, has launched AI³ (Abacus AI Acceleration), an initiative aimed at helping organisations adopt, manage and scale artificial intelligence through a governance-first, continuously managed approach.

The programme builds on the company’s partnerships with OpenAI, Google and Microsoft, and includes a new line of products alongside add-ons to its existing services. Abacus said it has deployed more than a dozen Anthropic Claude models and offers an AI Risk and Readiness Assessment for healthcare and financial services firms.

The initiative also includes an internal agentic layer that supports service delivery by giving technicians context-aware assistance on client requests. Abacus said it remains vendor and model agnostic, allowing clients to choose technologies that match their risk posture and regulatory requirements.
